Welcome to my cooking mountain – I hope you’ve brought supplies

This is a challenge set by me for me.

Like so many people, I own more than my weight in cookbooks but will probably only create half a dozen recipes from each in my lifetime. However, one moment of enthusiastic madness now means I’m working my way through all 34 cookbooks I own. I haven’t dared count how many recipes that is but I hope that during my journey, I will gain a greater understanding of certain cookery writers, experiment with new ingredients, get to feed family and friends and be joined by some of you food enthusiasts out there.

All comments (positive or otherwise) welcome!
